Hawaii State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division’s Junior Judges Program
Becoming a good decision maker starts at an early age. The Hawaii State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division’s Junior Judges Program teaches 3rd through 5th grade students how to make good decisions by having students judge their choices in simulated real-life situations. In October 2013, our attorneys discussed with kids at Oahu elementary schools how to make positive choices, stay safe and avoid legal consequences when confronted with tough issues, such as cheating, vandalism, bullying, and stealing.
HUGS (Help, Understanding & Group Support)
HUGS is a Hawaii nonprofit organization founded in 1982 that improves the quality of life for families with seriously ill children. On many occasions, PKK attorneys have sponsored and participated in the HUGS Peer Support Program for parents to gather in a supportive, enjoyable environment and share in a fun activity.
